Serial number ???????

First off, thanks for all the great information on this site....I successfully have a T-60 hacked and working just fine....My question though is, I want to get a subscription from DTV, but my serial number on the back of the unit and the one in system information doesn't match, which one do I give to DTV, so that I can get my subscription?

Thanks in advance for the help, and yes I did do a search, but didn't come up with anything

From what I understand and someone here more knowledgeable can correct me if I'm wrong. The serial number on the back is the one they will want, has been for me. The unit will have an electronic serial number that is different from the one on the back of it. Now having said that I understand that some people even make up a fake number to give them, not sure why.
