I upgraded my DSR with 25Xtreme. If I run 25Xtreme on a new, larger drive and put it in my DSR as a single will the new drive screw up my 2.5 BIOS (Already updated.) or just ignore it and work okay?
Thanks for the reply.

If i undrstand the extreme image correctly it will just reflash the prom with the same image.
If all goes correctly shouldn't matter.
BUT anytime you flash the prom there is a risk. Although from what i read its a tiny chance, it does still exist. (Trust me I know first hand).
If you dont want to risk it and dont mind some extra work. Backup your current drive with mnfs tools, than restore it to the new drive. And tivomad the drive to make tivo recognize the larger size.
the very detailed howto for this is:
hinsdales howto (http://www.newreleasesvideo.com/hinsdale-how-to/)
P.s. never really tried myslelf, but i think you would only need plan tivomad in your case, but dtivomad wont hurt anything.
P.P.s Thinking about it more- the prom update code might check the prom version before it flashes it and seeing a currrent version might live it alone. Anyone confirm this either way?

You're right, the getprom program checks the version of the prom and will not flash again if the versions match.
