I have a SVR 2000 Tivo, and am adding a Seagate Barracuda 80gig 7200 drive. The complication comes in that I have
a Macintosh (G4 running OS X) I have found the bless tivo for mac file, and I have read how to make a exact copy of the A drive using dd on the terminal. My question is I am not sure where to hook up the A drive and the target drive on my ide chain (I have a G4), and how to label thodse ide addresses in the command after dd?!

Hopefully there are some mac experts around that might know about this.

Thank you

Joachim

You can do almost everything you'll need to do using pdisk and the Ext2 VFS for Mac OS X that's on sourceforge.
