Local Channels

Is anyone else having trouble getting locals. If using a HU with activation, locals come up as channel unavailable. If using H with 3m, I am getting locals for Tampa and live in chicago. Time zone and guide is set correctly.

Anyone else experiencing this or see this problem???????????

Is the 3m on your card preventing you from reading the Eeprom in BasicH? If not then I suggest you read the eprom and then click on card and choose time zone. Then select yours. If this doesnt solve the problem then I suggest you read the eeprom save it to a floppy disk. Download Tweakcore and also save it to the disk. Then run tweakcore. You will see the options for 4th gen receivers. Test your transponders as suggested and select the appropriate ones. Save the final cor. Then open up basic H again. Open the bin file from the disk and then hit the lightenbolt. That will re-write the new eeprom to the card.

Perhaps you need to read a bit closer. So this is the 2nd time I have read that this discussion is not allowed here, if so many people are asking these question, please explain why you people have decided it is not an appropriate subject matter. The other side of it is, if people are asking these questions why not create a forum for this topic if you are so offended by seeing it in here. The truth is that there is alot of crossover between Dtivo and Dtv. It would be an injustice to predjucily eliminate all Sat discussion.
