Need Info

Does anybody know if you use a standalone tivo and subscribe does Tivo report that info to directv ? I want to buy new series 2 tivo but don't want to give up free TV.

If you call Tivo and ask to Opt-out, they supposedly collect less of your viewing info. Until I got my DTivo I used an SA with sat receiver and never got any nasty phone calls. YMMV
