I have a philips single drive 20 hr (hd212). I had added a 60 gig west dig drive using bless tivo. I did not make a initial back up.
My original drive sounds like it is spinning up and down and seeking all the time.
I just last month took a life time membership.
If this drive fails what is the best way to replace it. Should or can I make a b/u of the image now while the drive and unit still works
If so what should be the steps of this process. Can I write the image to a CDRW drive. ( what utilities should I use. and is there an image file available to download.)
Since my 60 gig is already married will I have problems. If there will be problems should I low level format the 2nd drive to re marry it.
