After much grunting and re-expanding of my Tivo image I have finally managed to reliably install channels on a channelless Tivo.
One problem remains in this area and that is the adding of a channel for the baseband inputs instead of the RF channels.
I tried comp-in.tcl whcih sort of worked but the output is wierd. The luminance signal is OK but the chrominance is knackered which sort of makes me think that maybe comp-in is setting the output or input as NTSC instead of PAL.
I am not sure about this and it may be that the RGB input (output from my satellite box) is not, in fact RGB but is composite.
I would like to know the variables that are set for RGB, composite, RF and things like that. Anyone offer any links or reading, advice in this direction please.
