Backing up xbox disk

How do you make a backup of the xbox disks? There is a second session (UDF) on the disk that backup utils can't read. You will probably need the mod chip to read the backup but I wanted to know if anyone has had any luck copying these things.

are you reffering to the hard drive in the xbox, or the games? the hard drive can be backed up via linux DD AFAIK, but i could be wrong.

the 'backup' methods for games are not publicly available, but currently i am aware of two basic methods:

via ethernet using a dev box (or a specially setup retail unit)
using certain dvd drives with certain firmware (hitachi drives i believe are popular)

besides that, you still need the proper utilities. bottom line, none of the needed info or utils have been released publicly (and no, i don't have them either).

If someone does know how to back these critters up, please share. Seems like a driver/software the understands the UDF format should be able to read session 2.
