:( :( :( :( :( :(
I know, I know... I should have read more. But I thought I had...

I installed the futura font using fontinst.tcl from AlphaWolf's awtes.zip file. The problem is that I forgot to flush the resources (with flushres.tcl) before rebooting.

Now I am doing just that... Rebooting, rebooting, rebooting...

But, during the reboot, I have access to the machine via telnet for about 45 seconds. Is there anything that I can do now that would fix this problem? Can I flush the resources now? Is there anything I can do during this time?

Or, is it best just to reload from a backup?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

have you tried replacing rc.sysinit with a very simple one that simply gives you bash, and does not start myworld?

I was able to get it fixed... It was just TOO simple.

I just ran 'flushres.tcl' before it would reboot, and all is good.
I didn't think it would be that simple.
