deleting mvchannels off the hard drive

How do I delete the mvchannels,main dat, & channel dat off of my hard drive using the bash?

Use the rm command. It's the linux equivalent of the dos del command.
If you've already added channels using mvchannels, you should run a mvchannels reset using the main.dat file that came with v1.35. This should put everything back to normal.
