Running slow

I have a hughes dtivo unit with extreme 2.5 loaded and the touch command was performed.

It been up and running for 6 months now. At times it runs very slow when changing the channels. I has always ran slower than my 5th gen RCA but this is so much slower.

Is there something else I should do. Maybe some logs that need to be cleaned or something else that needs to be done?

If you are running mvchannels it will tend to slow things down each time it loops.

Also, I believe if you have lots of saved recordings and/or Season Passes/Wish Lists, I think they too slow it down. Maybe someone else can confirm this.
