ambiguous command name "db"

midupdate.tcl recently stopped working for me. I started hacking around with the commands and discovered that you get the following when you try to run "set s [db $db open /State/SatConfig"]:
ambiguous command name "db"

Is this normal, or have I done something to my Tivo?
