TyTool (v4) problem

My setup: SA TiVo v3.0 w/TivoNet

Used Chris Worley's setup disk (and Dylan's boot disk) to set up telnet (etc.) a few weeks ago (after my 2.5 -> 3.0 upgrade happened; I had, of course, done this for 2.5 as well).

Followed TyTool setup instructions (put tvserver_mfs3 and NowShowing.tcl in /hack/tytool and chmod 777 both of 'em).

Ran tserver_mfs3 on my TiVo

Ran tytool on my Win2K PC
Set the correct IP for my TiVo
Set a valid local dir
(I have almost 1gB free, so I don't think that's an issue, BTW)
Clicked "Refresh"

Here's what I got on the TiVo end:

I got the exact same message. Running a Philips 3.0 SA unit.

You need the updated (ie, "3.0 compatible") NowShowing.tcl script.

Search the forums for it.....

tivobot updated the NowShowing.tcl to work with 3.0. It's called nowshowing.zip at:

Update!

jdiner now has a version of NowShowing.tcl posted that detects what version your running(2.5 or 3.0).

works with any version!!!
