Mysterious Moving Locals...

Okay, I've got 25Xtreme humming along pretty well, but am having a problem with mvchannels.tcl v1.35. I'm trying to install all the locals within my spot area in the 900's, when I first boot the TiVo they're right where they belong. However, after several hours they start moving to the 0 ~ 99 range and some have the same channel # so it confuses the TiVo.

I've followed the instructions very closely, though I believe they came out around v1.32 so not sure what if anything needs to be done differently w/ v.1.35. I also uninstalled and resinstalled twice just to be sure I had it right, and I think I'm doing everything correctly.

Any suggestions greatly appreciated!

When you relocate any channels to numbers that are not the natural numbers (like the 900s) you have to loop mvchannels to make them hold. There are plenty of threads that describe techniques to do this. BTW, this will slow down an already over-burdened system, which is why, I for one do not recommend it.

Thanx for the info. That makes sense... I did see a how-to on creating the loop, but didn't know what it was for. I may just pare down the channels to the ones I really want and let them hang out in the 0~99 area where they want to...
