I know this isn't exactly the right forum for this, but I thought I'd ask in case anyone else has seen this.
I have a T60 that has 2.5 extreme on it that has been working like a charm since I got it.
In the past few days, however, I have been noticing something that almost looks like a rain fade picture freeze for a split second, but instead of getting a pixelated picture on the other side, the audio and video "speed's up" to catch up with live TV.
Have tried a couple reboots, but it still seems to be doing it.
Anyone seen this, or have any suggestions?
Thanks!

Have you added any recent scripts...or done anything to your tivo recently?

I added the nosdd script AFTER it started happening, but prior to that, I haven't added anything since I got my turbonet board working the way I wanted at the begining of June.

I've seen this problem as well; a momentary glitch, then the audio and video speed up to "catch up" to current. I can hit instant replay, and that same portion will play fine.
I'd first attributed it to my dtivo running hot (it was usually at 60C or hotter) but after making some modifications (runs 41C to 49C), I still see this problem about as often as before.
I did recently upgrade my hard drive but somehow think that's not the problem.
Running 2.5.01 (not 25xtreme) and a modified rc.sysinit. Added TurboNet card and utils. Disabled fan module and logging. No additional scripts or processes running.

For what it's worth...
I ran exhaustive SpinRite tests on my drive, but it was perfect. I noticed the problem seemed more common when both tuners were tuned to a high-bitrate station.
I think the combination of my 5400RPM drive, the high bitrate, and the use of Maxtor's "quiet" acoustic management setting made the hard drive a *hair* too slow at times.
I disabled acoustic management, and haven't seen the problem since.
