running in circles..help with upgrade

ok, i have been just running in circles trying to upgrade my drive for the tivo unit. dsr6000.

i have a completely clean 40 g drive, can anyone help me with what i should do to get this up and running with the hack and all?

i have a 2.0 image, but when i run 25xtreme, it says that there is no kernel...and it just wont do it.

any help would be appreciated.

Look in the Directv TiVo forum at the top for the HowTos thread. Applying v25xtreme is pretty straight forward. If you still have problems, try another download or the CD burn could be bad.
