One Grand Prize consisting of a birding merchandise prize package valued at $2,393.33; two First Prizes each consisting of a Zeiss Victory 8x40 binocular valued at $757.69; five Second Prizes each consisting of a Thayer Cornell Lab of Ornithology Guide to Birds of North America cd rom valued at $69.95; ten Third Prizes each consisting of a Jenna Bird bluebird house valued at $19.95; fourteen Fourth Prizes each consisting of a one-year subscription to Birder's World valued at $22.50; and eighteen Fifth Prizes each consisting of a 2003 Birder's World calendar valued at $11.95. Cash equivalents of merchandise will not be awarded. Substituting prizes is not allowed.

The Birder's World 2002 Birding Merchandise Sweepstakes is open to residents of the United States and Canada (except Quebec) only, 18 years of age or older. Employees (and their dependents and immediate household members) of Kalmbach Publishing Co., their advertising and promotional agencies are not eligible to participate.
The official ending date for the Birder's World 2002 Birding Merchandise Sweepstakes will be August 1, 2002, and all entries must be postmarked or transmitted no later than that date.
