Be careful about how you define Lifetime. Depending on where you find it, or who sells it to you, you may receive a Tivo in which the "System Information" screen tells you that it has a Lifetime Sub, but if it makes a phone call to Tivo, that could disappear. If you truly want a Direct TV unit, with a Lifetime Tivo Sub, which can call in to Direct TV and Tivo, make sure that you state that you want a Tivo with a Legit Lifetime sub, request the Tivo Service Number & Call the Tivo Company(or direct TV?) to confirm that it is a Lifetime Subd Box. Just my humble opinion..
