25xtreme, how long?

If loaded 25xtreme on a 160gig hd, put it in t-60 ird. When thru all the grades looks like everything is working fine. Only thing is none of the Tivo features work. How long does it normally take for the features to activate?

I was surprised how easy the load was, there are some smart people out there and their work is appreciated.

Alright now I've made my serial cable. Open HyperTerminal I have a bash-2.02 command. I've tried several commands without alot of luck. I move around in a couple of directories but no luck activating tivo.

I've tried to find a guide, so far no luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

type this while u are at the bash prompt:
touch etc/SubTest
then force a call and u should now have a full working tivo.

You're lucky, I got Xtreme to install, but I cannot get a bash prompt at all. I made a cable and it did not work. I also used the cable that came with my SA Tivo and a null modem adapter and still cannot get a prompt. So, I may reburn the image and start from scratch and see what happens.
