Non vi users out there might like to try an editor that is a little more intuitive. nano, similar to the pico editor students use for pine, is now cross-compiled for TiVo.
I've included instructions for installation, which should also take care of the term library stuff which can be difficult. I've tried to make it as easy as possible, statically compiling the term libraries into a single nano executable.
Please let me know what you think.
Also, fwiw, I'm a vim user. This one is for the other 99% of the world.
