Any way to change the Resolution and Bitratre in DTIVO?

I read it's possible in SA Tivo, what about DTivo?
I want to lower the bitrate on my DTivo so i can burn SVCDs
without having to reencode them.

The dtivo units do not have an mpeg encoder. They merely save and intrepret the dtv streams. Any bitrate changes would have to be done after extraction.
