View Full Version : Is xtreme possible on a UK Tivo?

I cant find any posts from anyone who's loaded the xtreme image onto a UK Tivo and there are no Thompson images available for download.

Is the Philips image usable? Anyone tried it?

Otherwise, can I achieve the fixsub hack manually? I can find the TClient-lib.itcl, fixsub.tcl and logsnull files but I've read that I might need a prom file??

I already have a turboNet installed and get my updates over broadband.

Any how-to's for this?

AFAIK, xtreme images are for combination DirectTV + Tivo boxes only. DirecTV is roughly the US equivalent of BSkyB.
