Hey just so everybody knows in the future, this guy is a ripoff artist, I worked out a deal with him and he never came thru with the dtivo, just took my HD and ran, and has gone 3 weeks without answering PM's after promising that the unit was in the mail. If you are reading this Miles2go, I hope you are happy that you extorted $25.00 (price of drive after rebates ;) ) from me and in the process abused a message board set up for enthusiasts of the tivo hobby. Remember don't deal with this guy. Here is his real name and address:

Tye Jones
3144 Highmeadow
Memphis, TN. 38128

Anybody in Memphis who feels like giving him a call/stopping by on my behalf, feel free.

Oh great! I am in the same boat too. I have been waiting 3 weeks also, and nothing yet. I sent him 2 hd's and nothing yet. Live and learn I guess.

So is the personal info (address, etc.) I posted correct? I figured there was a 50/50 shot he was getting stuff sent to an empty house down the street or something like that.
