two cable box's

i have a digital cable box and a black box. is there a way i can have my tivo switch back and forth between them to record?

Set one up through the RCA/SVid input and one through the coax input. You should be able to tell the Tivo that you have 2 box sources. The one limitation is it can only change channels on one of them =(

Basically what this means is not yet.

I'm pretty sure that you can't tell the Tivo that there are two boxes. I've tried and failed. What I did was I set it up the same way, then manually changed the Video source for recording every time I wanted to record a single event from the black box. However, a few times I forgot to change it back, and it messed up my recordings.
