static lines appearing from my tivo

i recently bought a display model sony T-60. i powed the unit up
to see if everything worked ok. to my surprise i see lines that run
from botton to top, aprox 3 inches horizontally and run one side
of the tv to the other. the lines consist of just slight snow
not real bad, but bad enough to notice

what ya think?

Not sure why they're there. But I have them too.

Sometimes if I wiggle the 75-ohm cable out, they get better.

Might be interference from the HD or the motherboard in the TiVo.
