Please help, dreaded demo screen!

I keep getting the demo mode screen. I've tried the demofix.tcl throught the serial cable but all I get is:

chmod: /var/hack/fixdemo.tcl: No such file or directory

Can anybody help?

Ok, for starters, have you sent the fixdemo.tcl file to your tivo? I'm guessing either you didn't or you put it in a different place other than /var/hack. do a ls -la /var/hack and you'll see it's not there. re-zmodem it up and try again.

You might want to look at a quick bash shell tutorial as well..
