Or what command do I use to find out?

I don't know if it has a version number but it is a customized TCL with special builtins for the TiVo (tivosh). It is fairly compatible with Active TCL 8.4.0.1 ===> http://aspn.activestate.com/ASPN/Downloads/ActiveTcl
