View Full Version : Make 594-598 act like regular PPVs?

I have a dvito w/xtreme25 that I use an Hu PPV-only card with. Normal 100 PPVs work "normal"...that is I can pre-purchase PPVs, buy & record, etc.

But 594-598 only lets me BUY the currently showing program. I cannot purchase future programs, only schedule to record but then they are not authorized to buy. And I don't want to miss any part of these movies as the plots get rather complex.

Can't help on the buying problem, but I can tell you that the guide times are off by an hour on 596, and 1/2 hour on 597, so be careful or you'll miss the "climax" of the movie.:D

Because I'm tired of getting 1/3 of the shows I want! I can't use the TiVo guide to record these damn things. Of course it's gone down hill a lot with the switch to Platinum, so I may have to switch to more enlightened material. ;)

Does anyone atually have the answer to this question?

There are at least 3 separate threads that ask the same question but it is never answered.
