I gave up on mvchannels, selectlocals.tcl work for me, I just put the file in my /etc directory and ran ./selectlocals.tcl OR LA, and boom it works, 4 hours goes by and all the other stations start p[opping up one by one, I mean like other cities I can't and shouldn't get, I run selectlocals again, prob solved again. Now do I just put this in rc.sysinit, if so where and how. I have read dozens of post, everyone has a different answer it seems, all I know if this works and I will do it, unless there is a easier solution for a newbie to do.

I figure the how is with edit or joe, now I have different rc.sysinit's in different directories don't know how I guess 25xtreme put them there. Where is the one I should use? I think this is pretty simple, question but I don't know the answer.

You don't need to add selectlocals to rc.sysinit. It doesn't need to run repeatedly like mvchannels.

Thanks for the reply again Bubble...

But, why did all those other station start coming up, and I don't want/nedd them to. But when I re-ran it it corrected the problem, I did not reboot or anything, just recording all night long.

You said you were playing with mvchannels, so I can only assume you probably unhid them at some point. When you stop running mvchannels they fall back to their default slots, but they don't go away.
