Alright, I've had a lot of difficulty getting everything up, and I REALLY want to thank everyone who has helped me with my t60, but I think I'm finally good to go, exept now after I've installed 25 xtreme on a new blank drive, it seems to no longer take remote input from the original tivo remote. It will take input from a programmed universal remote, but not its remote. No, its not the batteries, I've checked them and tried changing them. No, the little switch on the side isn't set to tv. Any reasons it would do this? Thanks.
Let me throw out the first suggestion and ask if you installed the correct 25Xtreme.
There is one version for the Philips DSR6000 (which also works with the hughes) and then there is a version for the Sony Sat-T60.
Which did you install?
Check out www.framethrower.com to see both versions.

I'm almost positive I installed the correct sat-t60 version. Also, like I said, if I program a universal remote for a sony DSS receiver, it functions. And the TiVo remote still controls my TV, just not the t60.

Make sure the remote and the Tivo both have the same remote code setting. A remote with code of zero can control any Tivo. But if you set the code to non-zero, then the Tivo and remote must match.

How do you program the remote's TiVo code? I know how to program the TV code and receiver code, but I didn't think you could change the code for TiVo... Well if you can, how would I change it back?
Check out the section on setting up 2 remotes to work on 2 different tivos in the same room, except set the remote to 0.
