dtivo sync issue?

my dtivo is great and i love it, but recently its been having problems....

what happens is sometimes when shows are taped it will start recording too late, so i miss the begining of it. or stop recording too soon and i'll miss the end. a real pain in the butt.

i was thinking maybe somehow the clock on my tivo is slow or something but i updated my computer clock with atomic clock and it matches the dtivo.

so does anyone have any idea what is causing this and does/is it happen/happening to anyone else?

Your tivo clock is just fine, its the broadcaster thats not airing the shows at the exact time that they say. The reason they do this ties into adding more time for commercials, its a complicated issue. What you need to do is adjust your recording options to make it start recording early/stop recording late, just thumb around your season pass menus, its in there.
