When making the bootable cd for MfsTools2. Are there any special settings for:

Bootable Cd:
Load Segment:
Sector Count:
Emulation Options:

And what should I see when I look on the disk in Windows. Should it be an .img file/s????

I am currently seeing:

bootcat.bin ( file size 2k)
bootimg.bin ( file size 10.3 meg)

Is this correct??

Thanks,

That doesn't look right to me. My MFS Tools 2.0 boot disk contains four folders labeled Floppy, Isolinux, MFSTools2, and Other as well as two documents labeled MFSTools.doc and MFSTools.htm. It doesn't sound like you burned the CD as an iso image but rather burned the iso image as a file to your CD. You might want to try using either Nero or CDRWin for burning an iso image rather than Easy CD Creator. There's a link to a site for downloading CD software in the How To's Only thread, page 3, in one of the posts I placed there.

I burned the .img with EZcdcreator without any problem- ver4 though it should'nt be all that much different.

When opening the program I was presented with a menu, which I selected create DATA CD. No other 'wizards' open for me but if they do for you cancel them. You want the real program. The click down the 'file' menu and selelct 'create CD from image' and point it to your .img file.
