DSR6000R2 Rebooting Problem

I have *not* hacked my TiVo box or modified it in anyway, however, it reboots at random (usually during the climax of a movie or show) and repeats this "powering-up" process several times. Does anyone know why this is the case?

Is it a bad hard drive? IC controller? ribbon cable? power supply? Help...please I am gradually going mad.

Any and all of the items you mentioned can cause it. If it's still under warranty, send it in. If you're ready to tinker, open it up and start troubleshooting.

PS, check your temp too, might just be running hot.
