I'am connected from a laptop with a crossover cable to the turbonet card in the tivo.The net mask is 255.255.255.0.That is a very good question about the ip address of my laptop but i don't have a good answer.I'am runnin xp with the network icon manually confiqured for 192.168.1.5 and the net mask at 255.255.255.000 .This may be wrong but I'am pretty sure how it's set up.When i run tivoweb it says that the connection is already being used?Thanks for the quick reply.I have been following these threads for about 2 weeks now and they are invaluable.Thanks again.
