xPlusz inquiry

First off, thanks to SZ- this thing is great. In my "new toy" like frenzy, I ran a bunch of scripts to see what they would do. Now In the Now Playing section there are extended descriptions like -
"Friends: The one with.." It is just too crowded for my taste. How did I tunr that on, and how can I tunr it off? I can't seem to figure it out.

You activated TivoTitle ===> http://www.dealdatabase.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=8084

You can turn it off with the #25,0 xPlusz command. I don't think the existing program titles will change back, only new titles will not contain the episode name. You can use TivoTitle from bash if you want to change the existing titles.

BTW you can always see what it active/not active by using the #0#12 command.

If you do a search for AlphaWolf upgrade script there is a new font located there which works very well with the TivoTitle you might want to give it a try.

I think I already read this, but my question is:

If I already installed/executed noppv, selectlocals, and touch, do I need to remove them before loading XplusZ, or can I just go right ahead and follow the directions in the readme and install it?

I think selectlocals and touch (aka fixsub etc) just run once when executed, but noppv is currently set in the daily dial script. Will this cause noppv to run unnecessarily (both from the existing setup and the XplusZ configuration process), or will the XplusZ installation void out my previous noppv during the installation?

You shouldn't have to change anything, just install xPlusz. I'm assuming you are running noppv and fixsub (w/logsNull) from TClient-lib.itcl (a la the KRavEN upgrade). If you activate the NOPHONE option, TClient-lib.itcl will never be run. You should also activate the NOPPV option.
