How to change manual record time?

I was wondering if there is anyway to change the manual record time from 30 min to 1 hour, or even 2 hours. For example, when you hit the record button on the Tivo remote, I would like it to record 2 hours instead of 30min. My tivo is unserviced due to me only using it to recording video from cameras. I would like to change the default 30min value, and I can't go through the menu due to the aplication I'm working on. I have a Sony SVR 2000, version 3.0. Anybody know how? I'd appreciate any help. Thanks.

Check over at the AVS site. I think that Ebeem came up with a way to make it an hour. It would be in the Underground area of the site.
