32768 - Clear flash NV RAM (including tellyscript, dialing options, etc. If the box is locked, then this secret code is disabled._(When the box is locked, the message light on the box flashes 5 times)

12357 - Here's what it does: Clear dialing options. Clear tellyscript and send user back through scriptless. Turn on audible dialing for diagnostic purposes.(unknown build)

77437 - Spooky Dialing Options

6502 - Mfg test code. (Go to Channel 100 directly) build 6684 and later. If the box is locked, then this secret code is disabled._ (When the box is locked, the message light on the box flashes 5 times)

110698 - Enable Offhook detect (Yellow light flashes)

110598 - Disable Offhook detect (Red light flashes)

072358 - Queries offhook detect state (yellow light-on, red light-off)

989898 - Set the client version number to 1.(useful for verifying approm upgrade) (This code will be turned off before shipment)

8675309 - Boot into Mini-Browser for downloading Boot or App ROMS (primarily development use for flashing BootROMS; unknown build)._Currently work with external bootrom(2545) only Oct,2000

sorry i assumed people would know. these are power off codes. you input them when the receiver if off.

i think the procedere told is to press options/menu 3 times and then enter the code while the receiver is off.

i just posted them for those who might be interested

BlueCop..... Does the 8675309 code force the download of the App ROMS ?

If so, is it via dial-up, or through the data stream ?

Im trying to use the internal build codes but nothing happens is thier a prosedure or anything like that which i have to follow. Or is the machine locked somehow if so can i unlock it. The codes that say your machine might be locked work so my machine isn't locked.

lord_oberon: internal build means internal inside the company. those codes won't work with retails builds at all as far as i know.

Thanks for posting this and hopefully my additions will help expand the list. In a listing I found a while back I found the following codes not listed here. I don't know if they work or not:

code 24682468 Trash the browser image

code 201 Displays information on the iNews channel (channel 201) information
downloads.

code 511 Displays the Receiver Information Screen. Contains receiver id,
smartcard id, smartcard version, receiver software version, receiver
boot software version, receiver customer service id, and dish networks
url. You can access the webtv screen (i.e. 411 code) from a button off
this page.

code 611 Displays a memory dump of the memory in the device. Some people think it clears the memory of the device. But it looks like it just displays
the memory and doesn't clear it.


code 031158 Runs a demo for WebTV. My receiver tells me it doesn't have a copy of the demo to play and that it'll download it later. Probably something
that only works on dealer units like the extra channels. Note that
061185 turns this demo off (Thanks to Charles for confirming this with
his unit that does have the demo). However it doesn't do anything but
download the EPG if you don't have the demo.

code 6429 Resets the unit to work with the old remote for PTV functionality.
That's all it does. If you use the new remote it switches back again.

As stated, I don't know if any of these work. A kind soul in the middle of testing who could provide confirmation would be appreciated.
