Lost with no dial tone

Okay I have been reading and it seems that everyone has there own ideas suggestions, helps. I am not sure where to turn. I used the how to only and used the post by "anonfoo" and used the t60extreme.iso. Everything seems to have worked right, but I get no succeed on dialing, only failed no dial tone. I have been reading about this Touch thing, but the DTvio FAQ talks about it working after the image is done, no need to touch. It says the worst case is you might have to force a daily call, this gets the same error, no dial tone. So do I need to touch or do I need to redo the image. Thanks for any help.

You need to do the touch if you don't have a phone line connected. After that the phone calls should indicate Succeeded.
