noppv question

I have noppv running in my tclient.tcl (xtreme25 w/ superzap's 2.5.2 updated image), as per the readme which accompanies it. I believe the noppv is running daily (when the fake call is made), correct?

It appears that after a week or so some ppv's can't be recorded when selected in advance via the guide. I am guessing these are newer shows added since the last dump. I do a manual "noppv dump" command at the bash prompt and all is well for a few days.


Can I just add another line to the tclient file to run "noppv dump" daily as well to solve the problem? The writeups on noppv do not mention anything other than to run the dump during the initial installation.. or maybe I am missing something...

After further reading , I think I may have figured out a possible cause to my problem....

I initially used the noppv mod. I then installed superzap's xplusz application. Upon removing/uninstalling the xplusz app, I once again relied on the noppv app. Is it possible that the removal process of xplusz removes the noppv dump file? And after doing another dump, I will be ok again? I will need to keep an eye on it for a few days after this past dump a few days ago.

Any comments?
