View Full Version : Whats a good platform to play Mpeg2 files off my Hard drive?

I am new to this, I used tytools5, Dvdpatcher,SpruceUp
to extract the video from my TIVO. I dont yet have a DVD Burner, but would like to watch these videos off my hard drive

You can preview them in SpruceUp. Patch and import the m2v file into SpruceUp. It will process the m2v file and automatically process the m2a file immediately afterwards. SpruceUp will shut down due to an error when its done. Repatch the 1st header and then re-import the m2v file. Drag the clip file to the 1st small window to the lower left just below the main window. Click on the Simulate tab and the preview window will open up and the movie will begin playing automatically. You can also author the DVD project with menus, titles, and buttons and then compile it as a title set. You can view the compiled project using Cinemaster 2000 and probably most other DVD playback codecs like WinDVD.

That works but the right hand side of the picture
is breaking up in small squares! its worse when the picture moves fast!
