Recording Time available with 3.1

I just recently did the 3.1 upgrade using Tivolater. When I checked the system information screen I noticed my recording space was "Variable up to 67 hours". I have an 80GB drive installed in the system, and I could have swore it was much higher than that previously.

Did 3.1 change the way space was calculated, or did something go wrong with my upgrade?? .... or am I just tripping, and thats about what it should be with an 80GB drive?

Don't know for sure whether v3.1 eats up more space, but my v2.5.2 box with Maxtor 80GB shows 69 hours.

Uhh...its in my sig. I'm stil on 2.5.1.

I upgraded to 2, 40gigs, and it shows 67 hours as well.
