Well, to start off with as most everyone who posts files here, this comes with no guarantee, no help, no anything.
To be honest, I got tired of using the remote through a browser, and wanted something better.
This might be similiar to the MAC version, but I have no idea, and don't care.
This version is just a remote, that has a favorites menu ( actually these are my favorites ) and a send text option, if you have that installed to the default path on your TIVO.
Yesterday was the first day I had ever used Visual Basic to build this so I'm sure it will probably exploded when you first open it up. Works well for me, especially when you assign a macro to pull up the remote with a few keystrokes.
I doubt I will go any further with this, because I know there are alot more accomplished programmers out there --- but hopefully this will cause someone to build a better mouse trap.
Perhaps if it gets any fanfare, I might just learn howto use VB a little better.
Enjoy.
Note: Be SURE you put the tivo.ini file in the SAME directory, or you might not be very happy.
For those curious of a screenshot, here is a pictures i took, and scaled it down a touch, so that I wouldn't get hit too badly.
