The question no one is willing or able to answer

Looking to do something which should be (I think) somewhat easy. Just want to delete the viewing and diagnostic logs before they are sent to the mothership. I am starting to get the impression that this is either Taboo or that no one really knows how to do this... Anyway, from all the reading I have done I think the files I'm after are tivolog.pub and tivolog.prv in the /var/log directory. I can find them using tivosh from the bash prompt an delete them - however, is the job complete at that point? Anyone know? If you know are you willing to share? Thanks!

I think you're better off just symlinking them to /dev/null so they don't have anything to upload, plus you shouldn't have to worry about them being recreated at that point.
