Has anyone even been able to access their home computer from a pocketpc to make this possible?

try microsoft media encorder...it's free and allows you to stream video (live or file) to pocket pc's and desktops.

Here's a link you may find interesting:

I have played a bit with my Casio E-105, and at least this unit w/its 100MHz processor is not powerful enough for use as anything but a toy. You're stuck with really low-res, low-bitrate videos, and if you really want to stream from another PC now you've introduced the network connection also. I've found wireless is REALLY SLOW also--not sure streaming would work.

But YMMV and the Snapstream PVS system is worth a look.
