I've just upgraded the drive on the HDR212 philips and I read that you can't put on 2.5xtreme is that right? what do I put on it to get some of the programs?

To get 'what' programs?

2.5xtreme does a couple of things... including changing the setting that makes the Tivo think it's set to LIFETIME for its subscription.

Xtreme is used only for DTivo's, as you've probably already read.

I have a stand along tivo, so 2.5xtreme will not work for me. I need to know what will work in a Philips S/A and were to find it.

be more specific as to what hacks you want, and what you want to do. For the most part, A SA tivo needs to be subd & plugged to a phone line. If you want to use it without service, you can, but only without guide data(unless you hack it every few days & it's complicated, and not supported here).

If I can't used 2.5xtreme what can I use to hack it, I got a turbonet work card it it now, but all the software I see only works for Dtivo, and I have a stand along unit. can you point me in the right direction?
