your thinking of the matrix chip.
you can get it at www.easybuy2000.com

That's where i got mine.
This chip is pretty good. If you don't want to solder anything this is your best bet.

Hope this helps

Has anyone bought anything from hackershardware.com? I am curious if they are any good, their prices are significantly cheaper than other sites.

Thanks

hackershardware had some very stinging reviews regarding poor service and whatnot. I would suggest looking into other sellers.

I have bought twice from extreme-mods, and my nef. wants me to install some for his friends. I will be ordering again from extreme.

extreme-mods is great. Their prices are a little higher though.

I just got a bunch of chips from

xboxmodchips.net and the-console-corner.com

I have heard people had problems with hackershardware.

I wouldn't get any no solder mods, like the matrix I have heard that they tend to slip. If you want to spend $60 on a mod chip, get an xecutor 2 pro instead, much better chip. It's not very difficult to solder btw, some people just get scared off at the thought of melting metal on a PCB, but its actualy quite easy, and you can get all of the tools to do so for extremely cheap.
