Robotic dogs have gone soft! The Bow Wow Buddies, like this shaggy little poodle, prove that electronic pets can shed that screws-and-chips persona--at least on the outside. Soft, squat, and furry, this pooch sniffs, howls, growls, sits, walks, plays, barks, finds its bone, and a number of other tricks--all at the command of your child's voice. It can even follow its master around, thanks to (limited) laser sight. Parents can help kids program the voice-command feature. Even if they don't, the dog comes with a large remote control unit that has a button for every performance command. After a bit of training, kids will find that behind that cute plush exterior is a state-of-the-art interactive canine that'll give the family dog a run for its money. A leash is included.
