.TY FILE -> Now What?

Ok, I extraed the .TY file.

How do I get this to a MPG, or to a M2V or M2A file?

(I tried extracting from TYTool directly to M2A, and m2V, but I got some sync problems).

What programs do you guys recommend? (everywhere I've read most people seems to use different stuff, so I end up nowhere)

For splitting you have basically 3 options:

1) Split on the fly using tysplit extraction in tytool

2) Use standalone vsplit utility

3) Use tydemux for splitting.

Any of these methods should result in a set of m2a and m2v files, although tydemux may have you name them as something else (I haven't used it but a couple of times). Most people use what works for them. Personally, I've never had any sync issues using the vsplit extraction mode in tytool. I have had temporal reference errors in the tystream and tydemux was able to correct them on several occasions.

You can name tydemux output files to any name you want using the -a and -v command line parameters.
