teraterm stuck

I get a bash prompt with no problem and can move around the folders, when I try to tansfer a file using teraterm I type rz at the prompt and select zmodem <send> , no binary, when i select a file it brings up a download dialog but remains at zero. what can I do to complete the transfer.

Make sure you select
File->Transfer->ZMODEM->Send...

Also, no need to type "rz" in bash first with teraterm.
When you do as SZ described, teraterm automatically does the rz for you.
