Will upgrading to 3.1 make me lose my "lifetime"

If I have a 2.52 extreme and its plugged into phoneline and it gets upgraded to 3.1 will it wipe the "21,1" xplusz command?

If you get the upgrade to the phone line, I believe you will lose everything, since the upgraded OS will not be extremed/hacked, it will just be a regular TiVo upgrade...

If you really need to upgrage to 3.1, try Xtreme 3.1

If you really need to have your phone line connected, try protecting against upgraded. I beliebe there is xypluz command for that.

Does anybody know the code for "no software upgrade"? I keep looking over the readme txt file for xplusz commands and I dont see it. I know its here somewhere.

I believe it's the NOSDD command (#29) (NOSDD = NO SERVICE DATA DOWNLOAD). I believe you also have to schedule to run daily or something

Thanx, I see it says "via cron", and #52 = set the cron daily time call. 2 questions, what does cron stand for, and what would the code = ? Would #51,0330 = 3:30 am?
